Peppermint Swirl Christmas Tree Skirt Class this Saturday!

Hey All!

Just a quick plug here! I'm teaching my Peppermint Swirl Christmas Tree Skirt class this Saturday at Spring Water Designs in Columbia. Take this class Saturday, and have your first finish for the holidays! Or, make it in fun bright colors for a cute child's play mat, or match it to your kitchen or dining room for a table topper. So many possibilities! Hope to see you there!

Hi Heather! I found this tree skirt of yours on the Moda Bake shop (I think it was.) I have bookmarked the tutorial as I really want to make it. I am wondering if you could suggest where to order the ruler from? I cannot find it in my local quilt shops. Thank you! :)

Hi Anita!

If you can't find it locally, I know amazon sells it
http://www.amazon.com/25-Degree-Circle-Wedge-Ruler/dp/B005MGUHXM

Hope that helps!

I would love to make this in a 56" diameter. Could you advise me on how to enlarge it and if I would still cut the same angle wedges?

Hi Erica,

You could enlarge it by making the strips a little wider than 2/5". You would probably need to work from yardage (maybe 1/3 yard each) vs fat quarters. The same amount and angle of wedges would be the same.
